Join us in the heart of Florida's wilderness for an unforgettable bird hunting experience. At Birddog Strong Outfitters, we offer expertly guided hunts featuring explosive flushes of Bobwhite Quail in beautifully preserved fields. Our land is carefully maintained to keep the rich tradition of quail hunting alive and thriving.
Whether you're a seasoned hunter or new to the sport, our professional guides and well-trained dogs will ensure you have an exceptional wing shooting adventure and time in the great outdoors.
The Experience

Every hunt at BirdDog Strong Outfitters is a 3-hour, guided hunt through our natural Florida cover—oak, pine, palmetto flats—tailored for small groups who want real shooting time and unforgettable dog work.

Chukar & Pheasant Upland Combo
Description: Add excitement with a mix of birds. Flush-heavy and fast-paced.
Rates: $25 per additional bird

Private Group Hunt
Description: Book the land for your group only — ideal for team building, events, or serious hunters.
Includes: Custom scheduling, full access to dogs/guide
Rate: $1050 for a two man hunt. $1,550 for a three man hunt, and $2,000 for a four man hunt.

Our hunting grounds feature authentic upland habitat—palmetto flats, pine stands, and oak hammocks. The result? Real cover, natural bird movement, and a hunting experience that feels untouched and wild.
Our dogs? They've seen more coveys than most hunters. Professional, steady, and dialed-in—our dogs are often the highlight of the hunt. Some folks come just to watch them work.

Booking & Policies
Book at least 2 weeks in advance to secure your preferred date.
Deposit: $150 per hunter (non-refundable inside 48hrs of hunt)
Weather: Rain delay? We’ll reschedule your hunt.
No-show: Under 48hrs? Deposit is forfeited.

Each hunt runs about 3 hours, morning or afternoon.
Here’s what’s included:Limit of 12 birds per hunter
Snacks and drinks provided
Bring your own guns and ammo (or rent from us)
Gun rentals: $40 per gun
Ammo: $20 per box
Hunters must bring eye and ear protection, and wear an orange hat, shirt, or vest
2–4 hunters per group to ensure plenty of shooting time
All birds are cleaned, vacuum-sealed, and frozen for you to take home

No — gratuity is not included in your hunt cost. Tips for your guide are always appreciated and typically range from 18–30%, depending on the level of service and your experience. Cash is preferred and goes directly to your guide.

Break-action shotguns only—over/under or side-by-sides are preferred. For the best upland experience, we recommend 20 gauge or smaller, such as 28 gauge or .410, for a lighter carry and cleaner shooting.

We recommend booking at least two weeks out to secure your preferred day and time. In season, you’ll need to book 30 days in advance.

Yes — and it’s encouraged.
Just give us a call before your hunt to make sure your dog is ready for the field. All dogs must be approved in advance. -
No-shows within 48 hours: You’ll lose your $150 deposit
Cancellations more than 48 hours out: No charge
Bad weather? We’ll keep your deposit and reschedule your hunt
Just give us at least 48 hours notice to move your date
